How to change the web browser's search engine (Mozilla Firefox)

To change the web browser's search engine in Mozilla Firefox, you need to access the Settings menu, Search tab. Feel free to follow the steps below:

1. Click the three-line button in the top-right corner of the window and select Settings;
   
   
   
2. Click on the Search tab;
3. Click the button under Default Search Engines and select the search engine you wish to set as default;
   

   

4. Open a new tab and search for anything, in order to test if the search engine was changed.
   
   

Note: If you want to set a different search engine than the ones offered in the list, click on Find more search engines... which is also in the Search section of Options. 

Select the search engine from the list and click the Add to Firefox button;

Afterwards, you can set it as default by repeating the steps mentioned above.

In order to change the default search engine of the Firefox web browser, on a smartphone or tablet, feel free to follow the steps below:

1. Tap the three-line button in the bottom right-hand corner of the screen, and select Settings;

3. Tap on the button under Default Search Engine and select a search engine from the list.
