How to fix ERR_CONNECTION_RESET (Windows, Mac OS, Android, iOS) (Android)

To fix the ERR_CONNECTION_RESET on your Android smartphone or tablet, you need to adjust the proxy settings:

1. Open the web browser and go to Settings;
2. Tap on Show Advanced Settings;
3. Select Change Proxy Settings, under the Network section;
4. Tap on LAN settings;
5. Uncheck Use a proxy server (if it didn't work, uncheck Automatically detect settings, too);
6. Restart your browser.

There is a small possibility that the reason behind the ERR_CONNECTION_RESET is the Data Saver setting. All you need to do is to disable it, which you can do in the following way:

1. Open the Chrome browser;
2. Tap on the three-dot icon and select Settings;
3. Find and tap on Data Saver and then tap on the slider in the upper right-hand corner of the screen.
