Disable the proxy settings
0(6)0(0)Sometimes, incorrect proxy settings can be the causers of ERR_CONNECTION_RESET and disabling them is all you need to do, in order to resolve the issue. To disable them, feel free to follow the steps below:
- Click on the apple logo in the upper left-hand corner of the screen and select System Preferences;
- Click on Network;
- Select the network you are connected to and click on Advanced;
- Go to the Proxies tab and then uncheck the check boxes under Select a protocol to configure;
- Restart the browser.
