You need to know that it doesn't help and it only makes the problem worse. So better just don't drink alcohol at all or drink it as rarely as possible.
If you are spending time in a company of your friends or any other people and you feel that it's too hard for you because of your hard emotions, and you don't know how to control emotions at work, don't be afraid to leave and spend some time alone. It is your right and it is much better than staying there in a bad mood.
If you feel hard emotions too often, it is better for you to be as relaxed as just possible all the time. Caffeine won't help you with controlling negative emotions, as it has the opposite effect, so it can actually cause some of the emotions you want to get rid of. So better just stop drinking coffee and black tea.
When you feel fear, panic or anxiety, it is hard to be in operation because of too much adrenaline. So just make a pause for 15 minutes. During this 15 minutes, you can do whatever can distract you from this emotion at least a little: walk, make a cup of tea, meditate, have a bath, etc. When you've physically calmed down, you'll feel better able to decide on the best way to cope.

You can do such practice every day for a few times per day before you actually meet that situation. And once you meet it, you won't be so afraid, as you were very relaxed there in your imagination.

If you feel too much fear, being educated about your fears is the best weapon against them. So just try to analyse and understand what may cause your fears and you will get a way to overcome them. First the small ones, then the greatest.
Do things you fear regularly and you will get rid of your fears easily. Start from the smallest.
For example, you get very scared on height. Take a good friend or friends with you and go to a high building. Get to the 20th floor (or whatever you want, but it must be quite high) and spend some time near a window, see the beautiful view, make it fun and easy. Then you can get higher and it can become an open place, like a bridge. Work on this fear until you get rid of it and then start working on another one.
If the situation that causes you hard emotions is solvable, start brainstorming and once you find some ways to solve it, you will feel more relaxed and calm. If there are no solutions and you just can't control this situation with any actions, think to yourself that your worries won't help anymore, so why to waste your time on so hard emotions about it?
