Don't know how to back up my files (Files on PC)

Google Drive is a free "cloud" tool, meaning you can save all your date online (in a cloud) and access it from any device with internet connection. It offers 10gb of space for free and you can purchase more if that isn't enough for you.

1. Go to Google Drive webpage. If you don't have a Gmail, account, create one and log in.
2. Select New in the left corner.
   

   

3.  Select File/Folder upload depending on what you want to back up.

4. Locate the content you wish to be uploaded from your PC.
5. Wait for the upload to finish (this might take a lot of time, you should be doing something else while it's uploading).
6. Once finished, your files are "in the cloud" meaning you'll be able to access them from any device with internet connection just by loggin into your Google account and going to Google Drive.

2. Click on the Upload File/Folder icon, depending what you wish to back up.
   

   

3. Select the files on your PC that you wish to save.
4. Wait for them to upload (this mighty take a lot of time, you should be doing something else while it's uploading).
5. Once done, your files are on the "cloud" meaning you can access them on any device that has an internet connection by visiting the Dropbox webpage.

1. Have a spare USB Flash Drive, they're getting cheaper every day so consider buying one if you don't have it. Find one here.
2. Plug it into your computer.
3. A pop-up window will appear, open the USB Flash Drive in the File Explorer.
4. Right click the files on your PC that you wish to back up and select Copy.
5. In the USB Flash Drive window selected, right click and select Paste.
6. This might take a lot of time, if it does you should be doing something else until it's completed.
7. Once done, your files are saved on the drive, you can access them any time later, just make sure you don't lose it.

You can back up your files by burning them on CD/DVDs. Check the solutions on how to burn CDs, it's the same process, just insted of burning the .ISO files, you want to burn the files that you want to back up. Once done, put the CDs somewhere save and make sure you label them somehow so you know what's on them later.
