Screen is blank (Nothing else worked)

Very rarely, mostly because of the old age, the motherboard starts bugging. The best way to fix this is to reset it to default settings.

1. Open the chassis and examine the motherboard. Make sure it is NOT in contact with the chassis
2. Remove and reinsert the RAM
3. Remove and reinsert the CPU
4. Reset the BIOS to default configuration using the motherboard manual (often by removing the battery)

If your device is out of warranty, taking it to any repair store will have the same effect, you will be charged for the service. However, using the official retailer's service will probably cost you more, usually because of the name only.

Once you've tried everything else, it could be time to take a more radical approach and try fixing the root of your problems.
