Remote control doesn't work (Samsung)

The most common reasons why a remote control won't work are:

  • Worn out batteries;
  • Dirty sensor on the remote control and the device being controlled (TV, home theater, DVD/Blu-ray player);
  • Worn out buttons of the remote control;
  • Bad angle or too far from the device being controlled;
  • IR sensor of the device being controlled covered by another object;
  • Broken IR sensor of the device being controlled.
