The 2017 version of the Microsoft Surface Pro is a stylish convertible featuring a passively cooled Intel Core i5-7300U (15W) instead of the usual Intel core m series, making it one of the most powerful silent laptops in the market! The cameras are very good and support Windows Hello and the touchscreen is bright, with high contrast and excellent color coverage.

The battery life is impressive! It easily beats the older Surface Pro 4 with Intel Core m3 (only 4.5W) and is proof that Microsoft can even beat Apple in power management optimizations.

The HP Elite x2 1012 G2 is HP Inc.'s current flagship detachable for businesses. The EliteBook x360 1020 G2 is a great example of the merging between sleek consumer designs and feature-heavy business configurations. It's inarguably faster and thinner than older the 1020 G1, but not without some cutbacks that longtime EliteBook owners may lament like the lack of docking station, TrackPoint or ports selection.

The jump from the 4.5W Intel Core M5-5Y75 to the more powerful 15W Intel Core i7-7600U (at this time the most powerful dual core mobile Intel Processor to date) is one if not the main benefit of this new revision.   

The EliteBook x360 1020 G2 has also display features found on no other business notebook of its size! It even includes the option for a bright 120 Hz 700 nit panel. HP SureView (Which dims the screen to other people passing by to keep the user's work safe from unwanted viewers) is the other exclusive feature but, sadly, there are some strange characteristics regarding brightness at certain viewing angles and a slightly grainy glossy display. Nonetheless, users who are accustomed to carrying dongles and adapters can equally exploit the benefits of both laptop and tablet mode and will not be disappointed with this admittedly attractive business machine.

This little fanless 2-In-1 Convertible, with its quad core atom processor, is more than enough for all your basic computing needs, but sadly, the GPU doesn't have enough horsepower for games more complex than the ones in the Windows Store. This relatively inexpensive high-end 2-in-1 convertible which packs the usual impressive build quality HP is known for.

  Alas this Computer has one of the best typing experiences on a 12.9" PC.

The Spectre x2 12 also features a powerful quad speaker from Bang & Olufsen (very impressive for a device so slim) that will make music enthusiasts very happy. The only drawback is that the processor performance and battery life are unfortunately just average (but not bad at all) for the category,

The HP x2 210 G1 is a basic business convertible. If compared to other convertible Cloudbooks, this PC offers a higher amount of memory (4GB) a slightly faster and bigger 64GB eMMC storage (instead of the usual 32GB) and very good speakers from Bang & Olufsen. Silent and inexpensive, this small 10" 2-in-1 convertible from Acer offers an impressive display that in combination with its integrated Intel HD Graphics GPU makes it a great choice for video streaming and internet browsing. The Acer Aspire Switch One has a relatively huge 8200 mAh, meaning a long battery life in "tablet mode", giving the user a whopping ~10 hours of Netflix/YouTube Streaming. Being an inexpensive cloudbook "Power Users" and "Gamers" will not find this PC interesting at all. The Intel Atom processor is too underpowered for anything but internet and very basic office related stuff.

The Lenovo Ideapad Miix 310 is the successor of the Miix 300. The main difference is the upgrade to newer Intel Atom "Cherry Trail" line of processors. The AMOLED Display of the Samsung Galaxy Book 12 has infinite contrast, offering perfect blacks and whites. Even if the panel is glossy, it can be used outdoors without any problem.

The 5MP Webcam and 13MP rear camera can be used for much more than business conferences, and in combination with the AMOLED display's great color reproduction and contrast, this detachable computer can be used as both a backup-camera and photo editing device on the go.

The performance is quite good, like the competition it uses a 15W 7th gen Intel Core i5 (i5-7200U) and, like the Elite x2 1012 G2, it doesn't throttle as heavily as the Surface Pro.
