The Aspire 3 A315-21 is a simple office laptop that can easily handle everyday tasks.

The SSD enables the system to run quickly. There is no shortage of storage space, given that the SSD is accompanied by a 1 TB 2.5-inch hard drive! The SSD + Hard Drive combo is an extremely rare thing in the Cloudbook world and is usually mostly present in high-end gaming laptops. The keyboard is reasonably good and fulfills all the requirements for home use.

The matte 15.6-inch display will not win any prizes. It is dark, has poor contrast, and it does not provide stable viewing angles, but at least it's responsive.

For 308$, this basic laptop is quite a good choice and, thanks to its AMD A6-9220 APU, has a slightly better performance than Intel's equivalently priced Celeron/Pentium based solutions.

This is a smaller and slightly less colorful alternative to the HP Stream 13, they are mostly similar and they are both very good internet browsing machines. The great Matte display is the main selling point, together with the free One Year Office 365 Personal license. The Storage of only 32GB is a bit tiny but can be easily expanded with microSD cards and/or External USB Drives.

The HP x2 210 G1 is a basic business convertible. If compared to other convertible Cloudbooks, this PC offers a higher amount of memory (4GB) a slightly faster and bigger 64GB eMMC storage (instead of the usual 32GB) and very good speakers from Bang & Olufsen. If you only need internet browsing and office workloads for your business, and you value a lightweight yet sturdy companion, the relatively high price of 445$ is largely justified!

The HP Pavilion 11t x360 is a small and economic basic Home Theater PC that has the advantage of being convertible to desktop, laptop and tablet form factor. Thanks to its completely silent and fanless design, great video encoder/decoder, huge storage, external TV HDMI connectivity and gorgeous integrated IPS screen with an almost perfect color reproduction, this small computer is an excellent entertainment device.

Silent and inexpensive, this small 10" 2-in-1 convertible from Acer offers an impressive display that in combination with its integrated Intel HD Graphics GPU makes it a great choice for video streaming and internet browsing. The Acer Aspire Switch One has a relatively huge 8200 mAh, meaning a long battery life in "tablet mode", giving the user a whopping ~10 hours of Netflix/YouTube Streaming. Being an inexpensive cloudbook "Power Users" and "Gamers" will not find this PC interesting at all. The Intel Atom processor is too underpowered for anything but internet and very basic office related stuff.

The Odys Vario Pro 12 with active input pen, selling for just 326$ is an interesting alternative to major manufacturers convertibles...And indeed this PC delivers pretty well, thanks to its long lasting battery runtime, its fanless system design, and its being powerful enough for most basic tasks.
