Buy Acer Aspire 3 A315−21 Cloudbook
0(1)0(0)The Aspire 3 A315-21 is a simple office laptop that can easily handle everyday tasks.
The SSD enables the system to run quickly. There is no shortage of storage space, given that the SSD is accompanied by a 1 TB 2.5-inch hard drive! The SSD + Hard Drive combo is an extremely rare thing in the Cloudbook world and is usually mostly present in high-end gaming laptops. The keyboard is reasonably good and fulfills all the requirements for home use.
The matte 15.6-inch display will not win any prizes. It is dark, has poor contrast, and it does not provide stable viewing angles, but at least it's responsive.
For 308$, this basic laptop is quite a good choice and, thanks to its AMD A6-9220 APU, has a slightly better performance than Intel's equivalently priced Celeron/Pentium based solutions.

Buy HP ENVY x360 15z 360°Convertible multimedia ultrabook
0(1)0(0)HP’s latest 15.6-inch tent style convertible is equipped with the new Quad Core AMD Ryzen 2500U APU and more than enough performance for even the most heavy usage scenarios. The integrated GPU is even fast enough for pleasurable gaming at medium/high resolutions and details. Heavier 2017 and 2018 games at max settings will be still a bit too much for the Envy's integrated Graphics.
The HP’s Envy x360 15z is an extremely balanced package. The only real drawback is the display, which is a bit too dark and the lack of a Thunderbolt 3 port.
The computer was responsive and fast thanks to its NVMe based SSD, which can be even easily upgraded after opening the case. The keyboard was good and it was backlit. The Battery life is good as well, which is rare on AMD systems.
The IPS touchscreen has a great contrast ratio and very good viewing angles and the touchscreen responds well to either fingers or the optional stylus pen.

A very well balanced laptop at a great price just be prepared to use the AC charger very, very often!
