Locate the application you want to remove and tap and hold it until a drop-down menu appears -> Uninstall -> Tap Yes
Note: Some system applicatins cannot be removed, since they are vital for the operating system.
Furthermore, in order to uninstall games, open the Games menu which you can find in the App list (swipe left to access the list) -> tap and hold the game you wish to uninstall until a drop-down menu appears -> select Uninstall-> Tap uninstall
Some mobile devices (e.g. Samsung Galaxy devices) offer you to delete applications from the main window.
Once you enter the main menu, tap the three vertically-aligned dots -> Tap Uninstall/Disable apps (or a similar phrase)
All the apps which can be uninstalled will be marked with a minus or sometimes a cross in the top-left/right corner of the application icon -> Tap the minus (or cross) icon of the application you want to remove
Note: On some mobile devices (e.g. Sony) you need to swipe from the left side of the screen in order to access the Uninstall feature
Go to Settings -> General -> Tap Storage & iCloud Usage or Usage (depending on your device's version of iOS) -> Tap Manage Storage
Select the application you want to delete and tap on it -> Select whether you want to delete the entire application or only the documents and data related to it -> tap the Delete All (App-if you selected to remove the entire application) button -> Tap Delete All (App) to confirm
