You can meditate while driving your car or while walking or doing anything else. All you need is keeping your back straight and being concentrated on some object or objects like people around you, sounds you hear, your own breath, etc. It really works and no one will even understand that you are meditating.
Try to sing one of your favourite songs while meditating. It doesn't need to be a mantra or something religious that people usually use for meditation. If you love David Bowie, for example, you can sing Heroes and it will give you just the same effect.
It's a great method for loving yourself and for understanding that all people, just like you, want to be happy and want to escape the pain. So it will make you more open to others. If you have hard feelings to someone or even hate them, it will definitely help you.

If you want someone professional to teach you this method, just find some meditation teachers or groups in your area.
Take a piece of paper and a pencil (or anything else you like to use for drawing). Relax your mind and begin slowly moving your pencil on the paper, don't stop to analyse or evaluate it, just keep drawing for 10 minutes. If you practice regularly, you will be able to meditate this way for an hour or even longer.
The point of such meditation method is experience, not the picture you have in the end.
This method works for everyone, even if you are always busy, it won't take any extra minute from you, because you take a shower every day anyway. So just concentrate on the feel of the water upon your skin and imagine how it washes away all your negative thoughts and fears. That easy, but works amazingly!

Try to sing religious songs that you like while meditation (mantras, prayers or other). Just relax your mind and sing. It will give you amazing feelings, especially if you think how many people and for how many years have sung those songs while meditation.

If you have too many thoughts in your head or even obsessive thoughts, observe them without any evaluations. They can amazingly help you with your meditation. And in some time you will realise that your thoughts come and go and they are not as huge as you thought.
You can use this method on the go if you don't have time for a formal meditation.
You can change methods every day if you get bored from one. You can meditate alone or with a group of people. Just relax and enjoy it without waiting for any huge results. In some time you will feel the difference between you before and now.
Try to meditate before sleep (you can do it right in your bad, just lay down with your back straight and relax) and while doing this think to yourself "I will be conscious while sleeping". In some time of practice, it will work and you will see the most beautiful dreams ever.
Just concentrate on the taste in your mouth while you are eating. Don't make any evaluations to the taste (good or bad, sweet or spicy), just open your mind and feel it. It is hard to concentrate on the taste for a long time first, but after some time of such practice, all food will taste like it tasted in your childhood.

Each method of meditation is good for making it easier for you if you have mental problems, and they can even help you with your practice.
Use your obsessive thoughts or hard emotions as objects of meditation. Just watch them without any evaluation and in some time you will understand that your thoughts and emotions are not that powerful and you can control them.
Concentrate on your negative emotion while meditating and soon you will understand that you can't concentrate on it for too long and it often happens that you start thinking about your laundry or something like this. This way you will understand that all your feelings and emotions are not that powerful and you can control them if you watch them. You can use this method on the go if you are too busy for formal meditation.
Try to meditate on a picture of the holy person you like. Just put the picture in front of your eyes and try to concentrate on the imagine. After a few minutes of looking at the picture just relax your mind for a minute or even less and then again concentrate on the picture and so on. You will feel very relaxed and cheerful after it.
If your back hurts while meditation or you have headaches often or something else, you can use your pain as an object of meditation.
When you try to ignore something you feel, it comes up all the time, but if you are not afraid to sense it, in some time it disappears. Just slightly turn your attention to the pain and try to concentrate on it for some time without thinking that pain is bad, it's just pain that you feel.
Use this method only if you are sure that your pain is not dangerous, in some time you will stand any kind of pain easier.

All methods give the same result in the end. You just need to choose every day the one that you like the most. This way you won't get bored with meditation and will be glad to practice different methods every day.
Find a class near you or just some people who like to meet for meditation. If you like a company or if you need someone experienced to explain to you how it works, it will be great for you to meditate in a group.
If you have a question for yourself, just ask it while meditation and then just calm down your mind and meditate. After some time of silence in your mind, the answer will come. It is a wonderful thing because you know all the answers for yourself already, it's just because your mind is always noisy, you can't hear them.
