Boredom or low job satisfaction can make it very difficult to concentrate at work. It may be that your role doesn't challenge you enough, or that it's simply time to reach for something different.
Being stressed, fatigued, or overloaded (eg. technology overload) can negatively impact your ability to pay attention. Take a 15-minute break, and then try again.
Evidence suggests that physical activity may be linked to improved concentration. Join a gym and/or play sports regularly and you'll be more focused again.
Caffeine can improve your concentration significantly for a period of time, while it also provides a spark of energy. Consider drinking some coffee, tea or other drinks that contain caffeine.
Inability to concentrate may be a symptom of occupational burnout. Take a vacation with family or friends for a few days to clear your mind.
