Deodorants contain aluminum chloride which can stop the pain and swelling. It's preferable to use a roll-on deodorant as it suppresses the itch more effectively because of the pressure exerted. However, a spray deodorant could help, too.

Windex is able to help stop the itch due to ammonia in it. What you need to do is simply spray some Windex onto your insect bites. Repeat it if the itching hasn't stopped.
