I don't know where to go on vacation (I live in Arizona)

Denver is the capital of Colorado. Denver itself boasts Western charm and metropolitan variety, which is hard to find elsewhere in Colorado. This city has many parks which provide recreation and relaxation opportunities for visitors. Cultural life in Denver is highlighted through the Ellie Caulkins Opera House, Art galleries, Denver Art Museum, and many other cultural attractions.

Rocky Mountain National Park is one of the Colorado's natural treasures. This area is home to wildlife, mountains, and lakes. The park offers camping facilities, hiking trails, cross-country skiing, horseback riding, fishing, and snowshoeing. This park is open through a whole year, but it's particularly beautiful in spring and autumn.

Arches National Park is one of the Utah's 5 national parks known as the "Mighty five". This park is home to over 2000 stone arches. The most famous and most photographed is the stunning delicate arch, standing like a horseshoe jutting out of the ground. There are numerous walking trails, which lead to the most popular arches and many other beautiful rock formations. The best sites and hiking areas are the Windows, Devil's Garden, Fiery Furnace, Double Arch, Delicate Arch, Balanced Rock, Broken Arch, Park Avenue, and Sandstone Arch.

Lake Tahoe is situated between California and Nevada and it's the major tourist attraction in both states. This lake is the largest alpine lake in North America. It's a home to ski resorts and summer outdoor recreations. The lake has many great public beaches for picnics, BBQs, swimming or just lying around in the sun. Some of the best beaches are Sand Harbor, Baldwin Beach, Lester Beach, Kiva beach, and Secret Cove.

Los Angeles, the second largest city in the United States, is located in California. This city has something to offer to any visitor. If you are interested in culture, LA is one of the best choices you can make. There are 841 art galleries and museums in Los Angeles County, which is more museums per capita than any other city in the world has. Some of the most famous museums are Museum of Contemporary Art, Getty Centre, and Battleship Iowa. Other classic attractions are the Hollywood Walk of Frame, TCL Chinese Theatre, Paramount Pictures and many others. If you prefer the sun there are great beaches such are Venice Beach, Malibu, and Zuma Beach.

San Diego is the main city in California. City's climate and numerous tourist attractions made this city very popular among tourists. Most popular museums as well as San Diego Zoo and Old Globe Theater are located in Balboa park. However, there are also many other cultural attractions at the city's downtown. San Diego's 70 miles long coastline offers many fantastic beaches such are Mission Beach, La Jolla, Imperial Beach, Coronado Beach, Pacific Beach, and many others.

Redwood National Park is located along the coast of northern California. The park offers visitors the chance to see the magnificent old-growth redwoods, some of the tallest trees on the planet. Visitors can also experience beautiful beaches like Enderts Beach. With a little luck, you'll have a chance to watch for gray whale during the migration in late March and late December.

Las Vegas is generally used to describe the city itself and the areas on and near the Las Vegas Strip and the Las Vegas Valley.

• Las Vegas Strip is famous for modern casinos, hotels, restaurants, and entertainment offerings, which have established it as one of the world's most famous destinations for tourists. 
• Visitors who are more interested in culture should visit the City of Las Vegas. The city is home to several museums and numerous galleries and events. Some of these are The Mob Museum, Neon Museum, the Las Vegas Natural History Museum, and Discovery Children's Museum.

San Francisco is the commercial, financial, and cultural centre of Northern California. San Francisco is known for its steep rolling hills, fog, cool summers, the mix of architecture, and landmarks including the Coit Tower, Alamo Square, Alcatraz Island, the Palace of Fine Arts, Chinatown, Lombard Street, and of course most famous Golden Gate Bridge. Tourists can walk, bike ride or drive across this famous bridge to photograph and admire stunning views. San Francisco is also known for its beautiful beaches such are Baker Beach, China Beach, Lands End and, Ocean Beach.

The Grand Canyon is a canyon carved by the Colorado River in the state of Arizona. This canyon is one of the biggest nature attractions in the US. In the late afternoon sun, the canyon walls glow with hues of yellow, orange, red and every color in the between. There are the road and walkway running along the canyon's edge with numerous lookout areas. Those who want a closer look can take a helicopter flight or hike down into the Grand Canyon.

Glen Canyon National Recreation Area is recreation area that encompasses the lower Cataract Canyon in Arizona and Utah and area around Lake Powell. This National Recreation Area is an amazing area of dramatic stone walls, blue water, and desert landscapes. One of the area's biggest attractions is the nearby Antelope Canyon. Photos of this amazing canyon are often found in fine art galleries and on postcards.

Carlsbad Caverns National Park is located in the state of New Mexico. Carlsbad Caverns National Park is comprised of nearly 120 caves and most of the park is hidden underground. The Park Service offers ranger-led tours and self-guided audio tours. Visitors can also experience walks through the outlandish geological formations, bat tours, and trips to specific caves. Up above visitors can find a wide range of opportunities for backpacking and backcountry hikes.

White Sands National Monument is located about 60 miles southwest of Alamogordo in the south of New Mexico. This monument is one of the most beautiful and most visited landscapes in the state of Mexico. This area is the largest gypsum dune field in the world. Here, you can take a tour to learn about how white sands are formed or just take romantic sunset walk with your partner.
