How to set the content of an RSS feed (Tumblr)
Select specifications which apply:

Via Settings
0(0)0(0)- Log into Tumblr and select the options (cog) icon;
*If you have more blogs, select the blog you wish to modify. - Click the "Truncate RSS feed" box under "RSS feed" if you wish to show excerpts of posts in the RSS feed and not the full content;
- Save the changes.
