Note: You can also do a "power reset" of the TV, which involves unplugging it from power socket and presssing and holding the power button for at least 10 seconds. Afterwards, plug the TV back in the power outlet and turn it on.
"I want to play a movie, but my TV has sound but no picture. What should I do?" If you try to play an MP4 movie on a DVD player which doesn't support MP4, you won't be able to see any picture of the TV. Make sure that the movie you are trying to watch is converted to a format which will be supported by your player.
Note: Famous converters include ConvertXtoDVD, Any Video Converter, etc.
Maybe restarting the player is all you need to get the picture back. To restart the player, you can either turn it off and back on after a few seconds or unplug its power cable directly from the power outlet.
If your TV doesn't have picture when you try to watch a movie through a DVD/Bluray player, it is possible that the player can't read the video because its format is not supported by the player. To help the player "read" the movie, you need to convert the movie using a converter (e.g. ConvertXtoDVD).
Note: Try playing another movies, for which you are sure that are fully playable. If you still can't get picture, it is possible that there is something wrong with the player or the cable(s).
